    What Do You See?

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. [Mark 11:24]

A blind lady was led to a great healing evangelist for prayer. After he had prayed for her, he asked her, “Now, tell me what you see.” She opened her eyes, only to be told, “Close your eyes. Tell me what you see.” She tried opening her eyes again, only to be told, “I didn’t say to open your eyes. I asked you what you saw. Close your eyes! Now, tell me what you see.”

This went on for a while, until the lady realised that the evangelist was asking her what she saw on the inside. Did she see herself seeing? When she understood that, she said, “I see myself with sight.” Then, the evangelist told her, “Now, slowly open your eyes.” That moment, she opened her eyes to perfect vision!

When you prayed just now, what did you see inside you? Were you praying for someone’s healing but that person in a coffin? Were you praying for a financial breakthrough but the banks pursuing you till you are bankrupt?

Many people don’t get what they pray for — they get what they believe they receive when they pray, because Jesus said, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

“Whatever things” includes everything. And believing that you receive them comes before having them. Jesus once told a centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And the centurion’s servant was healed that same hour. (Matthew 8:13) The centurion saw his servant healed. He believed that he had received his miracle, even before it came to pass.

So when you pray, what do you really believe and see on the inside?

“Well, I really can’t see it.”

Then don’t pray yet. Change your vision on the inside first. Start seeing yourself with the answer. See yourself healed, see yourself staying in the house that you want, see yourself enjoying more than enough. Then pray, and you will have whatever you ask for!

    I Am Who I Am

    I Am Who I Am
And God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” [Exodus 3:14]

Whatever your challenge is today, whether it is physical, emotional,
financial or marital, the great I Am declares to you: “I am to you what you need Me to be.”

Do you need healing? He says, “I am the Lord who heals you. (Exodus 15:26)
And as you believe Me, you will see your healing manifest thirty-fold, sixty-fold and a hundredfold.”

Are you groping in the dark, not knowing what to do? He says, “I am the light of the world. (John 8:12)
When you walk in Me, you will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Are you looking for a way out of a bad situation? He says, “I am your deliverer.
I will reach down from on high, take hold of you and draw you out of the deep waters.” (Psalm 18:2,16)

Are you wondering if there is more to life than merely existing from day to day? He says,
“I am the resurrection and the life. (John 11:25) I came to give you life. And where there is life,
there cannot be death. You will have life and life more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

Are you fearful of what is ahead of you? He says, “I am the good shepherd (John 10:11),
who leads you to pastures of tender, green grass and waters of rest. You will not suffer lack.” (Psalm 23:1–3)

Are you confused by the opinions and reports of man? He says, “I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the First and the Last. (Revelation 1:11) I have the final word in your life.
The doctors do not have the final word. The experts do not have the final word.
I have the first word and the last word in your situation.”

My friend, do not be fearful of the problems you face. The great I Am declares to you,
“Fear not! For I am to you what you need Me to be!”

    The Cross In My Pocket

°•.♥.•†•.♥.•° The Cross In My Pocket °•.♥.•†•.♥.•°

I carry a cross in my pocket. A simple reminder to me.
Of the fact that I am a Christian. No matter where I may be.

This little cross is not magic. Nor is it a good luck charm.
It isn't meant to protect me. From every physical harm.

It's not for identification. For all the world to see.
It's simply an understanding. Between my Saviour and me.

When I put my hand in my pocket. To bring out a coin or key.
The cross is there to remind me. Of the price He paid for me.

It reminds me too, to be thankful. For my blessings day by day.
And to strive to serve Him better. In all that I do and say.

It's also a daily reminder. Of the peace and comfort I share.
With all who know my Master. And give themselves to His care.

So I carry a cross in my pocket. Reminding no one but me.
That Jesus Christ is Lord of my life. If only I'll let Him be.

God will never turn HIS back on you!

God Will Never Turn His Back On You
He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
    Hebrews 13:5-6

For six whole hours, the Son of God was suspended between heaven and earth. And at the height of His suffering on the cross, He cried out in the deep darkness, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:45–46)

For the first time, Jesus addressed His Father as “God”. The Father had forsaken the Son. As Judge of the universe, God had to turn His back on His Son, who was carrying all the filth of the world’s sins, for His eyes are too pure to behold evil. (Habakkuk 1:13)

If the Father had not turned His back on His Son, He would have to turn His back on you today when you call out to Him in your hour of need. But because Jesus took your place, today, you take His place, and have God’s face smiling on you always!

Right now, God’s face is smiling on you. His countenance is shining on you. I can stand before you and declare, “The Lord make His face shine upon you.” (Numbers 6:25–26) And it is all because Jesus has paid the price for God to never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5)

As Judge, God turned His back on His Son. But as Father, He cried. His heart was broken because Christ was never more pleasing to Him than when He was on the cross. Christ’s suffering was a sweet-smelling aroma to the Father. (Ephesians 5:2)

Do you remember what Jesus said? “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.” (John 10:17) If you are a parent, you love each one of your children equally. But when one of them does something special for you out of love, it touches your heart, and you just want to run to him and hug him.

That was what happened at the cross, except that the Father could not embrace His Son. Instead, He had to turn His back on His Son because our sins had to be punished in His Son’s body.

Beloved, when you cry out to the Father for help, know that He hears you and will surely help you. Because of Jesus, He will never turn His back on you!

Do Not Be Afraid! Your Saviour Has Come!

Do Not Be Afraid! Your Saviour Has Come!

    Luke 2:10–11
Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.”

If all is silent and dark in your life now and you feel left out in the cold, just know that Jesus came to be your Saviour in such a time as this.

Jesus was born not in the comfort of a warm room, but in a cold manger. There was no room for Him in the inn (Luke 2:7) — so that there will always be room at the cross for your healing, your deliverance, your wholeness, your prosperity, and a room in heaven for you because He had no room.

Jesus was born very quietly — so quietly that the Bible says only a group of shepherds came to Him while the rest of Bethlehem slept. (Luke 2:8–9) Like manna falling quietly from heaven, Jesus the True Bread from heaven came quietly. It was a silent night. But that was not all.

Jesus was also born during the darkest time in Israel’s history. The Bible says that Israel was under the tyranny of the Romans, the most powerful Gentiles who ever dominated them. It was during this time, when everything was so dark, that Jesus was born. Beloved, Jesus is not afraid to come to you in the darkest period of your life.

The first message of heaven to man — brought by angels to the humble shepherds in the fields of Bethlehem — was “Do not be afraid”. On that cold and silent night, the shepherds were afraid. God said, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.”

It was not a judge or a lawgiver that was born. It was a Saviour who was born! He came to save His people. He came to save you and me. Even when you are in a cold, dark period of your life, don’t be afraid, for the Saviour has come and He will save you!

10 Christian Dating Tips for Effective Missionary Dating

10 Christian Dating Tips for Effective Missionary Dating

If he tells your that you are hot...
Tell him God made you hot.

If he wants to hold your hand...
    Give him a Bible.

If he tries to get closer...
Tell him the Holy Spirit is wooing him.

If he asks to pay for dinner...
Remind him that Jesus also paid a debt He did not owe!

If he reaches his arm around you...
Tell him that nobody will ever be as close to you as Jesus is.
(or ask him if you instead could "lay hands" on him in prayer)

If he tries to kiss you...
Remind him that a kiss killed your Savior.
(and you're not ready to "speak in tongues")

If he asks to come inside...
Ask him if he has asked Jesus to come inside his heart.

If he tells you he loves you...
Tell him that Jesus loves him.

If he gets angry that you won't put out...
Clarify to him that W.W.J.D. does NOT mean "Who would Jesus Do."

    After you dump him...
Tell him that Jesus Christ will never leave or forsake him.

    Broken Dreams

     Broken Dreams

As children bring their broken toys
with tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God
    Because HE was my friend.

But then instead of leaving HIM
    in peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help
with ways that were my own.

At last I snatched them back and cried,
"How could YOU be so slow?"
"My child," HE said, "What could I do?
    You never did let go."

    10 questions God wont ask

    10 questions God wont ask

God won't ask what kind of car you drove, He'll ask how many people you drove that didn't have transportation.

God won't ask the square footage of your house, He’ll ask how many people you welcomed into your home.

God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet, He'll ask how many you helped clothe.

God won't ask what your highest salary was, He'll ask if you gave some to help others.

God won't ask what your job title was, He'll ask if you performed your job to the best Of your ability.

God won't ask how many friends you had, He'll ask how many people to whom you were A friend.

God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived, He'll ask how you treated your neighbors.

God won't ask about the color of your skin, He'll ask about the content of your character.

God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation, He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to the gates of Hell.

God won't have to ask how many people you forwarded this to, He already knows whether or not you are ashamed to share this information to whom you love.

    Prayer

        Prayer

Please take a moment to relax your mind and humble your heart to focus on Christ. Allow God to be the only person on your mind while you read this. If we can take the time to read long jokes, stories, etc., we should give the same respect to this prayer. Friends, who pray together, stay together.

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness.

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness of God. And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example -- to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others.

I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those who will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray for those who don’t. But I thank you that I believe. I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly.

In all adoration with Jesus Mighty and Powerful name I pray...

    Amen!

Nothing Wrong Wth God, His Word And You

    Nothing Wrong Wth God,
    His Word & You

Image hosted by Photobucket.com   Image hosted by Photobucket.com     Image hosted by Photobucket.com

For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. [Hebrews 10:14]

Sometimes, when we are not receiving our healing, breakthrough, restoration or miracle child, we can’t help but think that something is wrong with us. We tell ourselves, “Nothing wrong with God, nothing wrong with the Word, so something must be wrong with me!” My friend, if you think that your miracle depends on you, then you are on rocky ground.

In the old covenant, we see this “it’s all up to me” demand put on man. God’s part was to bless His people, but only if they played their part by obeying all of His laws. If they didn’t do their part, not only would they not be blessed, the curse would come on them.

Most of the time, they ended up under the curse because they just could not keep all of God’s laws. So God found fault with that covenant because though He wanted to bless man, man’s sins made it difficult for Him to do so. Man himself was the weak link.

In the new covenant, man has no part to play except to believe and receive. The new covenant of grace was cut between God the Father and God the Son — both infallible and more than able to keep the covenant.

God the Son is man’s representative. Jesus is representing you and I. So in this covenant, how much we can receive from God depends on how good our representative is, how perfect His obedience is. Of course, Jesus is the perfect Man with perfect obedience. So in Him, we are qualified to receive all the blessings of God! We only need to believe and receive.

Jesus’ blood has been shed for the remission of all your sins. You are now the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21) By His one perfect sacrifice for all your sins, He has perfected you forever.

Today, the devil has no right to tell you that you cannot be blessed because there is something wrong with you. So as you are waiting for your miracle, you can say, “Nothing wrong with God, nothing wrong with the Word and nothing wrong with me!”

    ACTS 3:6-10

Long ago in the city of Jerusalem a lame man was carried by his friends to Beautiful Gate of the temple to beg.
One day two of Jesus's disciples, Peter and John, came by. The lame man stretched out his hand. He hoped they woud give him some money. Peter told him they didn't have any money. But Peter gave the man something much better than money. Through power of God had given to him, Peter told the lame man to get up and walk. And he did!
God still does good things through His power. He can help you when you are sick. He can give you strength to be kind to someone who has been unkind to you. Ask God to work through you.

King And Lord Over The Storm

Image hosted by Photobucket.com  Image hosted by Photobucket.com  Image hosted by Photobucket.com  Image hosted by Photobucket.com  Image hosted by Photobucket.com

But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” [Matthew 14:27]

Are you going through a dark, difficult moment in your life? Perhaps the storm just rages on with no let-up and you are trembling in fear. You feel that any time now, you may just cave in and go under because you cannot beat this storm.

Be comforted that Jesus sees what you are going through and He always comes to where you are in your darkest hour. He did that for His disciples one stormy night on the Sea of Galilee. Jesus came, walking on the stormy sea, walking on top of the problem that was threatening to overwhelm them. He is indeed the King and Lord over the storm!

When you know that you are in Christ, you will know that though the storms are raging and the winds are blowing, you are above your troubles and above the circumstances. When people ask you how you are doing under the circumstances, tell them, “I am not under the circumstances, I am on top of them because my God is above all!”

He will come walking to you, but sometimes you may not recognise Him because the storm has made you fearful. Hear His comforting voice telling you, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid!”

And as you behold Jesus, you become like Him. You will find yourself doing things you didn’t know you could do. You will, like Peter, walk on water. This happens when you are occupied with the person of Jesus, with His resources, His love, His wisdom, His ability, His power and His majesty.

However, know that even during the times when you take your eyes off Jesus, He never takes His eyes off you. And when you cry out to Him, He will immediately stretch out His hand to catch hold of you. You will not go under.

There will be times you will not be able to find your way back. Jesus will then hold your hand and walk you back to the boat. And like Peter, you will realise that with your hand in His, the storm will come to a standstill!

    Patience

Image hosted by Photobucket.comPatienceImage hosted by Photobucket.com

You've been walking by faith. You've been believing God to meet your need. But what do you do when the results seem slow in coming and you are tempted to give up?

     Be patient!

There is not much said about patience these days.
But, when it comes to receiving from God, it is just as important as faith.

It will make the difference between success and failure for you.

Patience undergirds and sustains faith until the result is manifested. After you have meditated on the promises of God and have them in your spirit, patience will encourage you to hold steady.

Patience is power. It has the courage to refuse the lie of Satan that says the Word is not working for you. It knows that God's Word has never failed. Patience will not draw back in fear but will press forward in faith until you have the answer.

When the results of your faith seem slow in coming, don't give up! Continue to put the Word first, with patience, and you will surely receive the promise of God!

    Give Him All Your Pain

Sometimes life does not make sense,
It's hard and filled with pain.
It seems that everything goes wrong,
    Dark days are here again.

The road you're on is lonely,
    You're filling with despair.
    Sadness fills your broken heart,
    You wish someone would care.

But there is someone out there,
    Who loves you very much.
He longs to heal your broken heart,
    With his gentle touch.

    He will never leave you,
He longs to soothe your soul.
He'll hold you in His loving arms,
    And never let you go.

He'll fill your life with so much joy,
His peace will fill your soul.
He will set your heart so free,
His love will make you whole.

    All your pain and sorrow,
    He'll gladly take from you.
He'll fill you up with happiness,
And make you feel brand new.

The one who can do all of this,
    Is Jesus Christ the Lord.
He can fill you up with strength,
Then be your shield and sword.

Jesus love you O so much,
That on the cross He died.
He paid the price so you can live,
    Forever by His side.

Just pray to Jesus; ask Him in,
Then in your heart He'll live.
He'll never walk away from you,
    His love He'll freely give.

He's here for you, just trust in Him,
And give Him all your pain.
He longs for you to trust in Him,
    And feel His blessings rain.

One day I dug a little hole
    And put my hurt inside
I thought that I could just forget
I'd put it there to hide.

But that little hurt began to grow
    I covered it every day
I couldn't leave it and go on
It seemed the price I had to pay.

My joy was gone, my heart was sad
    Pain was all I knew.
    My wounded soul enveloped me
Loving seemed too hard to do.

One day, while standing by my hole
    I cried to God above
And said, "If You are really there --
They say, You're a God of Love!"

And just like that -- He was right there
And just put His arms around me
He wiped my tears, His hurting child
There was no safer place to be.

I told Him all about my hurt
    I opened up my heart
He listened to each and every word
    To every sordid part.

I dug down deep and got my hurt
    I brushed the dirt away
And placed it in the Master's hand
    And healing came that day.

He took the blackness of my soul
    And set my spirit FREE!
    Something beautiful began to grow
Where the hurt used to be.

And when I look at what has grown
Out of my tears and pain
I remember every day to give my hurts to Him
    And never bury them again.

Today I felt like quitting. Do you know what I mean?
Today I felt like crying from all the things I’ve seen.

Today I felt like screaming from doubt and from regret.
Today I tried forgetting but just could not forget.

Today I felt it useless to battle and to pray.
Today I wanted desperately to know I’d be OK.

Today before my heartache could cause a tear to fall,
Before I even called Him My Jesus heard the call.

Today before I asked Him He rose to my defense.
Before I knew I needed it He gave me confidence.

Today before I felt it He soothed my aching heart.
Before my doubt could hurt me He tore it all apart.

Today before my memories could make me run away,
Today my Jesus touched me and made it all OK.

    Leave the Past Behind

    Image hosting by Photobucket

    * Leave the Past Behind *

Failures and disappointments. Aches and pains from the past that just won't seem to go away. Most of us know what it's like to suffer from them but too few of us know just what to do about them. So we limp along, hoping somehow they'll magically stop hurting.

But it never happens that way. In fact, the passing of time often leaves us in worse condition--not better. Because, instead of putting those painful failures behind us, we often dwell on them until they become more real to us than the promises of God. We focus on them until we become bogged down in depression, frozen in our tracks by the fear that if we go on, we'll only fail again.

If depression has driven you into a spiritual nosedive, break out of it by getting your eyes off the past and onto your future--a future that's been guaranteed by Christ Jesus through the great and precious promises in His Word.

Forget about those failures in the past! That's what God has done (Heb. 8:12). And if He doesn't remember them any more, why should you?

The Bible says God's mercies are new every morning. So if you'll take God at His Word, you can wake up every morning to a brand-new world. You can live life totally unhindered by the past.

So, do it! Replace thoughts of yesterday's mistakes with scriptural promises about your future. As you do that, hope will start taking the place of depression. The spiritual aches and pains that crippled you for so long will quickly disappear. Instead of looking behind you and saying, "I can't," look ahead and say, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!"

    John 1:3

Have you ever thought about the great care GOD used when He created everything in this world?

The ugly hippopotamus, who spends much time in the water, has his eyes, ears and nostrils at the top of his head. He can see, hear, and smell an enemy coming and duck under the water. He can even close his ears and nostrils so the water won't go into them.

A plant, the Venus's-flytrap, has wonderful perfume to attract insects and juices to digest them. It needed some way to catch insects. God placed little trigger hairs around the edges of the leaf lobes. When an insect hits two of these trigger hairs or the same hairs twice, the leaves snap shut, trapping it.

We can be sure that GOS also cares for us.
